Kairos, the company that specializes in facial recognition based in Miami is expecting to close $30 million before the year ends, CEO Brian Brackeen told the interviewers.
The company is proud to announce the acquisition of Limerick today, an Ireland-based startup EmotionReader for a confidential amount. Kairos raised $8.5 million before in venture funding and has 35 employees worldwide and 25 in Miami.
Kairos will concentrate its research and development team to the new Singapore work station as a part of the deal to buy EmotionReader and will be led by Dr. Stephen Moore.

Having EmotionReader’s team on board, Kairos will strive to push further to be more exact in the true conditions particularly in improving the calculations to work without predisposition on aces, ethnicities, sexual orientations, and periods of appearances.
“The EmotionReader team is looking forward to working with Kairos to make face recognition accessible to all.” Dr. Moore said.
EmotionReader is Kairos’ third acquisition founded in 2012.
